My passion for football started as a youngster growing up in England and continued when I moved to New Zealand in 2005.
I played football competitively until I was 52-years-old when, like Ronaldo (same birthday) an injury caused me to hang up my golden boots too.
I have coached teams from juniors through to seniors. As a coach, I was frustrated by the long-drawn-out process of developing player’s ball control and passing skills.
Every successful sports person knows, repetition of the skill involved is required so the skill becomes a habit.
After researching and trying out some of the training devices that are in the marketplace, I found they weren’t easy to use and had limited benefits.
So, a passion for playing, and to improve players skills, led me to developing the concept of this unique three in one football training device.
With its no tangle cord, sleek profile, and the way it can be easily put on and taken off a ball makes it a unique must have.
The name Willmax comes from an old team mate of mine who is sadly no longer with us. You gave me the drive and inspiration in getting this over the line William Maxwell Bridge!
